Product Reviews

  1. Looks like it will be the last pack that I need in my lifetime.

Posted by Chip K. on 18th Feb 2016

I just finished my first season using a Markhor Hunting pack.
I have hunted many places in the world and have recently retired to the family farm in Alabama.
Did not need a backpack for use on the farm, just a day pack to travel from the house to the woods.
Decided to try the Sequoia 10 which was recommended by a friend.
Used it for a full deer season. By the end of the season I had settled in with it and was very satisfied.
Turned out to be just the right size for day use. Not too small and not too big.
The size made it easy to get in and out of stands quietly and the shoulder strap extension made it easy to carry.
I was able to easily hang the pack next to me in stands with easy access to my necessities.
The loop strap is easy to grab from the mudroom hanger and carry out to the UTV.
The top adjustable straps were just right to cinch a coat outside the pack to put on once I got to the stand.
The right side pocket carried a water bottle, the left side pocket carried my cell phone.
The front pocket carried my headlamp, earplugs and toilet paper for easy access.
The main pocket was able to carry all of my extra stuff (bullets, handkerchief, gloves, hand warmers, wool cap, knife, binoculars and snacks).
After a full season I am very happy with the pack.
Very rugged with quiet fabric and big zippers.
Looks like it will be the last pack that I need in my lifetime.
